Only about a week until the year ends. I need to finish reviewing my vocabulary. I’m getting closer.

Vocabulary

There’s so much to do and learn but one thing at a time. Here’s vocabulary from my Nov 1st Italki class:

Cosmovisión

I don’t think I had every heard of this term. Definition: a particular way of viewing the world or of understanding the universe. Learn more (wikipedia). One planet with so much diversity, so many different ways of interpreting things.

Languages of Bolivia

I knew that there were indigenous languages in Bolivia but to discuss them and hear details really impacted me. The culture and language go back thousands of years. Aymara, Quechua, and Guarani are three of the most common (wikipedia).

Journey

Improving my Spanish is not about preparing to pass a fluency test. I may eventually take it more out of curiosity but it’s really about the journey. Meeting people, listening to people via live radio and podcasts, learning what’s going on in other parts of the world. Especially during this pandemic…knowing that I’m not alone.
